BESTEK 2000W Travel Voltage Converter with 2 AC Outlets and 3 USB Ports

I took a trip to the middle east and knew I would need a unit that would allow me to keep my electronics charged. The adapter worked as advertised and quite well actually.This unit offers a lot of different plugin/USB ports options for various electronics plugged in all at the same time. Worked very well and didn’t get hot or overheat.I was a little worried about selecting the right setup for travel overseas. There are a lot to choose from. The size is perfect for traveling.All in all I am very pleased with our choice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍🏼

Recently went on a trip to India and this converter worked wonderfully! I was able to charge my laptop, smart watch, and cell phone with no issues at all. It's made well made and feels sturdy. I would buy it again.

This converter has good quality durable outer casing and power cord. It also has built-in cooling fan to prevent over-heated. The converter has two sockets. One is a converter that can convert voltage from 100-140V or 200-240V to 120V output with 2000W power that is capable to run US high power appliances such as hair dryers, iron, coffee makers, electric kettles etc. Another socket can support 100-240V input devices up to 200W power. That means one socket is a converter and the other is a dual voltage adapter that provides output as per local wall outlets power supply. The different power outputs and appropriate application of devices had been labeled beside the sockets. There is also red warning reminder on the socket surface of the converter.The converter also has 1 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports that would not be affected by the voltage conversion and can be safely used. As per instructions, the USB-A supports QC3.0 fast charging with maximum output of 18W. The USB-C ports support PD3.0 fast charging up to 35W.As a 2000W high power converter, the size is quite compact and lightweight. It’s good for travel to other countries and I appreciate for the attached 4 adapters that are compatible with outlets in most countries.

This is a power strip with voltage converter and different plugs to adapt to different regions' need. This is very similar to another lower priced Bestek voltage converter that is available on Amazon. The main difference is that one of the sockets is with this converter is it is capable of high power electronic such as hair dryers. I tested the socket and my hair dryer runs flawlessly. Interestingly, the converter has a warning sticker warning not to use the high-powered socket for sensitive electronics like laptop or any electronics that doesn’t need high power. The converter also has a buzzing sound that is from the mini heat dissipating fan at one end of the vent. The USB ports are shared. Base on my initial testing, the ports are shared, but can still support fast charging for my Samsung phone when all ports are used. I will be taking this converter for my Nepal medical mission trip.

Love this travel adapter/voltage converter set! Sure, if you are traveling for work and have a dozen or more professional devices you need to charge, you may need to bring another power strip but if you are traveling light, you can probably get away with just this one. Aside from the 2 AC outlets (which already give you a variety of options for charging right there - such as adding a 100W fast charger with multiple ports), there are 3 charging ports on the side of this converter - 1 USB and 2 Type C.What also sets this converter apart from others is that the two AC outlets are clearly labeled in print, showing which devices are suited to each outlet. To ensure there are no mistakes, the converter arrives with a piece of marked tape over one of the AC outlets, warning you about what not to charge there. It’s very easy to see at a glance which outlet to use for your laptop, hair straightener, camera, and electric toothbrush vs. the outlet for hairdryers, electric kettles, and irons. With the exception of electric kettles (which I’ve only ever plugged into hotel wall power outlets, since they usually belong to the hotel), I’ve definitely charged or powered all those devices on my travels - including travel-sized garment steamers, which I am going to assume belongs in a similar category to the irons/kettles. So I really appreciate the clear labeling, which saves time remembering or trying to figure out what converter or adapter to use when you are in a different country.4 detachable adapters are included, allowing you to connect the converter to power outlets in over 200 countries. Of course, most of the time, you may only have to bring one along with you at most - but if you are traveling to many different countries/continents in one trip, the adapters also link up to each other conveniently, allowing easy packing.The whole set feels fairly light, and probably won’t add much to your baggage weight. You can probably even pack it in your carry-on without issue.As well, the 18-month warranty seems quite long for such a device and inspires some degree of confidence.

…. But sorry, I have to say, it is really a nice compact designed but on the 2kw plug, my Airfrigher with 1750w 110v can’t operate for long enough full power, maybe 2 min and cut off 😥

It has a buzzing sound which is normal as it is turning 220v down to 110v, it is compact and convenient.

I got this converter for my Italy trip. It is a bit bulky but not too bulky like a back up battery. Comes with instructions on where to plug your things, and where not to plug them, such as a laptop charger, hairdryer etc. got to get careful with your devices

I was pretty nervous to try this one out, because the last converter I got didn’t work at all and I lost an appliance. This one works great, and another bonus is that it’s very lightweight so not bad to travel with.

Ordered this voltage to use on our trip to Europe. It comes with 2 outlets. The first one labelled as 200W does not do any voltage conversion. Just converts from an European socket to an American 5-15 standard socket. The second outlet labelled 2KW does voltage conversion for appliances that are voltage sensitive and only work with 120V. Pictures are included to help determine where to plug in an appliance. The 2KW outlet shows hair dryer, iron, and kettle pictures, which are appliances that normally are voltage sensitive. 1 USB A and 2 USB C ports are included which are good for charging your phone or other small electronics. USB C ports are rated for 35W but I could not validate this. They seemed to charge devices quickly. Kit comes with travel adapters for multiple countries (types A, G, I, D) which is nice. We had no issues using this voltage converter in Europe. This is a versatile travel accessory and a good tool if you travel with appliances that only work with 120V.

I just got back from using this all over Europe and it was perfect for charging phone, watch and laptop. Would highly recommend! It is a little bulky but absolutely worth the space!

Works well, could provide more 110v USA outlet but still works well and cell phone charging port was a plus

Purchased for a trip to Thailand. The kit had the adapter I needed. I like the usb ports built in to allow for phone/smart watch charging while other AC devices are plugged into the receptacles.

I got this Bestek Voltage Converter for an upcoming international trip I am taking next year to two different countries in Africa. Each of those countries will require a different adapter when I travel from the US. I also need to convert the voltage so this unit does it all for me. It also has adapters that I will need for other trips I plan on taking in the future, so if it works well, I should be set with this. I also really like the size and weight of it compared to the other manufacturers I looked at. So far, I highly recommend, but will update my review if my opinion changes over time.

I went to Ireland earlier this year and I used what I thought was a converter for my blow dryer. It was not a converter, only an adapter for the plug. My hair dryer got extremely hot and I'm lucky I didn't burn it up. But lesson learned! When ordering an adapter, be sure it's also a voltage converter!This set does both things. There are numerous configurations for various differences you will encounter in many parts of the world. It's a pretty comprehensive set, with the countries listed in which it will work. those with both adapters and converters always cost more, and I think this one has a fair price. ($49.98) Since I got this, I have not had the opportunity to try it in an actual situation, but I feel much better prepared for the next time I have need of it.The only thing that would make this better is if it came with a case or bag to hold it all together for travel. I probably have one around here, and if not, I can always use a Ziploc bag. All in all, this is a nice set.

Sometimes those charming AirBnB's lack enough outlets to plug in your phone charger, your laptop and whatever else needs charging. I don't use a hairdryer but one of the a/c outlets on this has enough power to run a hairdryer.You won't need a plug to charge your phone because there are also USB ports. Every style of plug you may need outside the US is included. This is one of those little conveniences that gave me peace of mind.

This will do the job next year when we go to Italy! I have a small hair dryer that I love and this 2000W converter will allow me to bring it along and safely use it. It's so convenient having the icons clearly printed on the outlets to remind me which one to use. And, of course, with the USB and two "C" outlets we can both keep our phones charged. Ciao!
