BESTEK 200W Step Up Voltage Converter 110V to 220V with 4-Port USB

Was hesitant on buying this as its a refurbished product, but it came brand new and perfect condition, with a nice travel ouch to put everything in.The 2 travel adapter plugs that came with it are what I needed to plug in my Australian 240v 50hz products in.Recommended!

It works well for me. The UK plugs fit perfectly. However, I am only using it for a wall wart.

I am very happy with this however it doesn’t have the power I expected to give energy to all my appliances. Somethings just do not work. Also it’s noisy.However for the things that do work it charges fast and gives a great boost without burning too much electricity (from my experience)

I purchased this to run a couple of devices (synthesizer / amplifier) that were purchased in the UK.Works perfectly, no noise on the 240 V. Just plain works as described.

I bought this to convert for lamps bought in Europe. This is a great product. However, it emits a low hum that could be bothersome to some.

Bought it after moving to the US from the UK. It is working as expected although some buzzing noises. My electronics from the UK works well with this adapter and I just need to pay attention not to overload it's supplying power.

On moving to the US I discovered that the desktop computer I brought with me needed 150w at 220-240v. This power converter does the job and looks well built as well. I would have given it 5 stars but the fan in the converter makes more noise than the computer.

Very good product. Has two outlets to be used. For folks who moved from UK, Dubai and still have 220v electronics, it is quite useful

This is for what i was locking years!!

The product is genius however I have to play with the adapters to get my items to charge. The device works when plugged into the outlet but when plugging in your device to the unit it doesn't work without manipulating the plug.

Picked this up for use with a European Atari 1040STE and it works perfectly.

I travel often to EU and own few appliances that run on 220V and such "step up" converter is great to have . Pros: it has an on and off switch which makes it safer to use IMO instead of plugging it directly to the electric current you need to switch in on before you plug the appliance. It also came with two extra plugs for 220V. The cord and the devise itself seem sturdy and durable. Definitely not made cheap. Cons" too big. The reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is the bulkiness of the device. It really is a bit big and takes more room than I was anticipating in my not so big apartment all together with other cords necessary for the house. The size also makes it not ideal for traveling. If you compare it to the downstep converters for example, they are much smaller.

Great product to own for a long time use. Good quality that will protect your small appliances from overseas. A little bigger for traveling if you want to travel lean.

Got a train set as gift from U.K.Needed a voltage and pin converter to use it.Did some research and this Bestek adapter worked out perfect.

It apparently does frequency conversion from 60hz down to 50hz as well.

I saw a lot of different voltage transformers at various ranges (e.g., from 25W to 2000W). This one sat in the sweet spot of enough wattage to run the 2 or 3 things I needed to run (like a sewing machine and a battery charger), without overpaying.It makes a slight hum when running, which is a downside. But I am pretty sure that's just a consequence of what's going on electrically. I have never used a step-up transformer that was totally silent.Because it makes some noise, I generally only use it when I must. So the USB ports aren't really much benefit. Unlike a silent 4-port USB charger, which I might leave turned on and active all the time, I turn this one off when I'm not using the UK voltage ports.
