Yes. Use a compatible MacBook Pro power adapter connected to an AC outlet, within the inverter and vehicle socket power limits.
It can be used with a compatible 12V accessory socket. Check the vehicle socket’s rating and keep the connected load within that limit.
A great little compact inverter for your car, it plugs right into the cigarette lighter and provides 400 watts of household power for running small devices. So in a pinch where you forgot your car charger, and only brought along a wall charger for your cell phone, this would get you up and running or if you have one of those small warming plates for lunch on the go, this would power it nicely as well. It is extremely quiet in operation, being barely audible when it is turned on. If you're on the go I need 120 volts for small items, this is a great little unit as long as you stick to the wattage and is able to deliver.
The Bestek 400w inverter is pretty impressive for the price. This actually charges my phone faster than at home. The cord reaches far enough from the cigarette lighter in the front to the row of seats directly behind me in a minivan. It does have two AC plug-ins, but they are close together, so if your charging blocks are wide, you won't fit two. They are perfect for normal cords, though. I haven't tried plugging in a laptop or mini fridge, or using all the ports at once, but I haven't noticed any overheating problems or loud fan noise. Apparently, it is a smart fan, and comes on depending on the power load. There is an on/off switch next to the fan, too. I enjoy the versatility of having the two plug-ins, a USB, and a USB-C available. It is compatible with a variety of devices. The USB is only 18w, but it charges my tablet pretty fast. The USB-C is listed at 30w. The bonus is the pretty, shiny red aluminum housing. Not functional, but pretty.
This Bestek Power Inverter works really well! Plugged into a lighter socket in one of our cars it delivers enough power to run a laptop or charge a stick vacuum. Items that need more power to charge will need to be hooked up directly to the battery due to the limitations inherent in typical automobile lighter sockets (the other thing to aware of is that most cars these days don't have lights any more--just USBs).The power inverter has a fan that only turns on when under significant load, so it's quiet (as my wife recently found out when on a conference call with her plugged-in laptop).5 Stars for quality of construction, ease of use, and quiet fan!
I got this Bestek 400W Car Power Inverter for road trips, camping, and backup power during outages. The very first thing I noticed is how ridiculously small it is. It measures just 4.25 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1.75 inches high, seriously, it’s smaller than a lot of power banks! My other 300W inverter is brand new and still way bigger and bulkier than this one. This Bestek slips right into the glovebox with tons of room to spare. It feels really well built too. The red aluminum case is solid and sturdy, it has a smart fan that stays quiet most of the time and only spins up when it’s working hard, and overall it just feels like a quality product. What’s on it:Two regular 110V AC wall outletsOne quick-charge USB-A port (up to 18W)One USB-C PD port (up to 30W)I’ve used it to charge my laptop, run small fans, lights, and other electronics without any issues at all.My favorite part is how it works in my Tesla. During a recent power outage I ran stuff at just under 200 watts for days and the car’s main battery barely dropped. That was a lifesaver.Just a heads up though, the average car’s cigarette lighter socket can’t actually handle the full 400 watts (most are limited to around 120-180 watts max). The inverter has the extra headroom for when you hook it up directly to a bigger battery, but through the regular plug it’ll be limited by what your car can safely put out. On a regular car you can still run it fine as long as you keep the load reasonable and you’ve got gas as it will drain your battery if not running. I’m planning to grab an adapter so I can connect it straight to a deep cycle battery for even longer use.The only small things I’d change: the cigarette lighter cord is permanently attached (would be nicer if it was removable), and it doesn’t come with battery clips. But those are really minor complaints.Bottom line, this inverter is great. Compact, reliable, and more than powerful enough for what most people actually need. Way better than I expected. If you’re looking for something portable that actually delivers, just buy it.
This inverter features a nicely finished aluminum extruded housing with solid aluminum end caps that are securely screwed in place. The 24” power cord, on/off switch and cooling fan air outlet are on one end. Two 110V AC receptacles, a USB-A port, a USB-C port and a status LED are on the other end. A green light indicates normal working condition, whereas a red light indicates an overload or other problem. Ventilation holes on this end create an efficient cooling airflow across the electronics and out the other end. The fan is designed to run only when the power load requires extra cooling, so this inverter is silent when powering small devices. At only 1-3/4 x 3-1/8 x 4-1/2” it easily stores in your vehicle glove compartment when not in use. The specifications indicate built-in protection for short circuit, input over/under voltage, output overload, over temperature and reverse polarity. All inverters should have these protection features. I don’t want to go to the expense and wiring complications to install a large inverter in our camper, so I use small inverters like this one to power the television and charge small device batteries. I tested it with an AC powered LED lamp and for charging my phone and it worked as expected. A 400-watt inverter may be pushing the limit on some auto 12V ports, so check the fusing to your 12V port and use good sense in what you power with one of these inverters. This unit checks all the boxes for me, so . . .I consider this to be an excellent car power inverter.
This turned out to be a really smart pick. I got this for my husband, who is a general contractor and spends a lot of his day working out of his truck, and it's already proving to be incredibly useful. The 400W power is more than enough for charging tools, a laptop, and other devices while he's on the go. I really like that it has both standard outlets and fast-charging USB ports (including USB-C), which makes it very versatile. He can plug in multiple things at once without any issues. It feels well made and durable, which is important since it's going to be used on job sites and in the truck regularly. It's also compact enough that it doesn't take up much space. For anyone who works out of their vehicle, travels often, or goes camping, this is a great little power solution. Definitely a useful tool to have on hand-and very reasonably priced for what it offers.
Picked this up to use in my husband’s truck so I can work on the go, and it’s been super convenient so far.It plugs right into the 12V outlet and gives you two standard outlets plus USB options (including USB-C), which is perfect for charging a laptop, phone, or other small devices while traveling. The size is compact and doesn’t take up much space, and the build feels solid. It’s easy to just plug in and go without any complicated setup.Be advised, I wouldn’t rely on it for anything high-power. Even though this states 400W, it would realistically only push no more than ~200W since it's not directly tapped into the car's battery, so keep that in mind. ALWAYS check your power ratings!

I tested this inverter power supply with my PC while it was plugged in to my car. Other power inverters I have used cause my mouse cursor and touch screen to not work smoothly. But this one caused no problems and my PC worked same as if I was home.I measured the output voltage when it was plugged into my car, and the AC outlets were reading 120V AC.The size of this inverter is small and compact and very portable for the 400W rating. I plan to use it on my motorcycle during trips to charge my PC since the size is right. The indicator light is supposed to change colors or blink to alert of any issues, solid green is good.It has the Intertek logo on this unit so that is reassuring that it has been tested. It features a power on/off switch, which is nice for vehicles that do not have a switched 12V outlet. In addition to the 2 outlets, there is also a standard USB-A socket and a USB-C socket for charging without needing 120V, which could free up a 12V outlet on your car or motorcycle so you can have multiple things plugged in at the same time. This makes this inverter very versatile for taking on a vacation, camping, or road trips where you need to charge things. The cooling fan is variable speed, so it stayed whisper quiet while I used my PC in my car (see video). The red color of the main body makes it easy to find when it gets stored under the seat of the car.Overall, this compact inverter is a good value and puts out smooth regulated power.
I bought this specifically for camping trips to run a small air pump and charge my tablet, and it has performed admirably under moderate loads. The 400W continuous power rating is more than enough for most small appliances, and the 800W peak surge handled the initial kick-start of my pump without tripping any internal breakers. I really appreciate the silent cooling fan that only kicks in when the unit starts to get warm, so it doesn't create a constant drone while I'm trying to sleep in the back of the truck. The intelligent circuitry system gives me peace of mind knowing it will automatically shut down if it detects a short-circuit or overheating issue. My only minor complaint is that the 12V cigarette lighter plug cord could be about six inches longer to reach the back seat more easily. Overall, it’s a high-performance adapter that offers a lot of utility for the price point.
Works great
This is a cool, compact gadget for traveling. It quadruples the charging capacity of my car and camper and allows my kids to plug in their laptops and electric car blankets while we're on the road. We've even used it for a small plug-in cooler. It's a solidly built little device that doesn't take up much space. I can situate it near the front armrest where everyone can reach it and it's not in the way. It's also super quiet - or at least it's quieter than the noise in the car, because I can't hear it at all.I couldn't be happier with this inverter. It's a provides a great value and makes roadtripping a much more pleasant experience
Este es súper producto útil para nuestra vida diaria. Lo recomiendo.?
This is a fantastic power inverter. Charges my iPad, computer, or phone with no issues. So easy to use, and really gets the job done. We recently had a weather-related power outage for a few hours, and I was able to use this inverter to quickly charge up a couple of battery-powered lanterns. The wattage is low, so you obviously can't charge large-watt items, but this is a terrific item. Doesn't get warm, so I feel it is safe to use. Packs quite a punch for its small size. I just keep it stowed in my glove compartment. Seems sturdy and durable, and I think it is a great value for the price. Recommended.
Works great, used it for the air compressor to fill up some tires and charge a couple of things.
Very good
It is working well. The regular plugs are nice, but sometimes you can't fit 2 things side-by-side. However the 2 different USB ports are very nice.
Well made, study design. Works as described. Seems to be holding up well.
Works as described
Works excellent! I needed AC power in my patrol vehicle to run various electronics and this works perfect. It’s also very compact. I was very surprised at how the 12v plug stays tight in the outlet. Most of these I previously purchased have been made very cheap and did not last. I’ve been using this one for more that two months. No complaints
