BESTEK Universal 100-220V to 110V Voltage Converter 250W

My only concern is the outlets are not grounded.As others have mentioned, The adapter has 3-prong outlets, but the ground pin is not actually connected. This means the ground connection isn't functional - it's essentially a safety concern since devices expecting a true ground connection won't have one.Is this an inherent limitation due to varying international standards? Or is it a product flaw?

This is my second purchase of one of these adapters. I felt like it was important to have a backup to the wall mounted unit I purchased two years ago which has, and continues to, work fine.This one is a "desktop version" as it has the advantage of connecting it to the wall receptacle via a cord.The weird thing is that this unit's output has grounded plugs on it but the input connection to the wall receptacle only has two conductors, so no ground. Obviously the 3 prong 120 VAC receptacles are only 2 conductors which is a safety hazard and why I am only giving it 3 starts, but it does accurately convert the UK 240VAC 50 Hz to 120VAC/ 60 Hz.So BEWARE, the output receptacles are ungrounded!Edit: After 3 weeks of use the fan in this unit had developed a squealing sound.I contacted the seller and they are sending me a free warranty replacement... so two thumbs up for their backing up the products they sell!

Travelled to Bali, Indonesia, from the United States, and bought this hoping it would work since I wasn’t sure about adapters and things here. I’m currently day 4 of 10 and it’s worked perfectly. The only thing I wish this device had was a USB-C plug-in spot in addition to the USB ones it has on the side. Other than that minor gripe, I love this thing. Definitely was panicking about how to charge my devices before I arrived as no sites I saw recommended any particular adapters or converters. Lol

Exactly the International Travel Electrical Converter I was looking for. Most have one outlet. This has multiple outlets and USB Ports. Will charge all of our devices with one converter.

If I go on an overseas trip with my wife, we need a power converter to charge or power a bunch of devices or batteries at the same time. This converter makes all of this possible, with the various adapters needed to be able to plug in all over the world. Highly recommended!

Works as expected, used it on a trip to the UK. Also used it as an outlet multiplier. Cruise ship was ONE 115 V but we were able to use it to turn one outlet into 3. 115v to 115v.

This is a great adapter and charger for travelling to Korea. It comes with a carrying case and is very light weight. Converts 220 volts to 110 volts.

I have this running right this second charging this laptop while I'm in the Czech Republic. No issue, but I'm not being stupid and plugging in coffee pots and hair dryers. Has worked like a champ and just runs and charges my stuff. A++

A must have for international travel

This was great. We had some blocks as well, but wow did this come through like a champ. It is a must have for two reasons. First, sometimes a block/brick adapter will take up too much room and not fit where you need it to fit. Second, and most importantly, all the European and English hotels we visited did not have plugs near the bed. Besides clocks, my wife and I have CPAP machines. This cord was just long enough to make it work for our trip. An extra (American) extension cord would have been even better, but there's no way we make a brick work. It does include 4 USB-A plugs so you'll need an adapter if you have a USB-C. But still, you MUST get this for your travels. Oh! It was very durable and resilient. No issues during our entire 16 days abroad.

I recently toured Europe and used this adapter/convertor, and it worked great, providing me connections for my chargers and other powered items.

So glad I bought this! On our recent trip to Ireland I used this every day to charge my phone, tablet, watch, etc. The only thing that didn’t work plugged into it was my hair dryer. It has many different plug styles for different countries. It is small and very packable. It is a must have for travel.

The product was exactly as described, and it came very quickly. I won't be able to comment on its performance as I won't be using it in another country for about 3 months.

Worked very well even with an electric hair shaver (no weird buzzing like other step down power converters). Came with adapters of all shapes and sizes. Did not work with a hair straighter as others have said. This is good for light appliances such as laptops and phones. I needed the hair trimmer to work and it worked perfectly. Cannot speak to its longevity as we only used it six days in France.

This plug adapter size, and the price for the quality is outstanding

This worked great on my trip to Europe. It allowed me to charge several items at once. It wa the correct voltage too. That is one thing to check as you bring US items to plug in such as your straightener and chargers.
