BESTEK DC 12V to 110V AC 1200W Power Inverter

I MURDERED this Bestek 1200 watt inverter for over half a day! I only wish I'd thought to take photos while I was still out in the forest cutting dead-standing hardwood trees for the summer's Barbecue/ smoker needs. I worked it for hours with the equipment shown in the pics, and it never ran hot, tripped, or complained! I maxed out the sawz-all with a huge blade to actually fell and cut up trees 14 inches in diameter! I've had inverters before that I tested but never really trusted long term. I already know that this inverter will be the exception. Use common sense with the wattage applications of this beast, and you will learn to trust it, too.If you don't want the smell or noise of a chainsaw while camping, Buy this inverter!* Note- I did beef up the battery leads to 4 AWG size because I knew I'd be loading it down, but the leads supplied did not get warm during initial testing. Important too, is the fact that I'm an average-Joe Amazon customer who is extremely satisfied with my purchase, NOT a "free sample for testing" one, as I see so many of. I just love it!

works great, unfortunately didn't include battery clamps, you would think for the price they should have been provided.Had to buy them at at Home Depot, boo.........

The price was right. It does power my coffee pot and the Model Y keeps the battery charged. When charging and all services are closed I have coffee.

The name says it all, they are the BEST! I would occasionally hook up this inverter to my truck battery when I needed it at a jobsite where it was impractical to power from a normal electrical outlet. One day, when hooking it up to my battery, it would not power on. I contacted the company to see it if I could purchase a new power switch and they asked for the purchase invoice and a video of the problem. They responded and said that even though it was out of warranty, they would send a new unit to me. I was shocked! Awesome communication and customer service! I wish all companies stood behind their products like Bestek!

I’ve been using this inverter for a few months now and it works great. I like the digital read out for voltage and current draw.

Works great for the little camping (glamping maybe). I have a very small microwave and use it with the car running. Makes it easier to just grab a frozen dinner or popcorn in my DIY Dodge Grand Caravan.

Bought this to run a coffee maker in our camper. It pulls 80 amps from our lithium battery and chunks out 1250 watts of AC power. Quiet fan comes on pretty quickly but nothing about it ever got warm to the touch - even after brewing 10 cups. I did buy cables with lugs at both ends instead of using the alligator clips it comes with.Winner.

Went through 3 cheap "700W" inverters which either died, couldn't power my 80W laptop, or the fan was loud and at max speed. This one is very quiet, love the display which shows how many watts are being used.

Simple to use. So far I've used it at a totally solar sight ie. No a.c. available at all. I've plugged in a very expensive piece of test equipment and no problems. This unit really wasn't expensive compared to others not with the amount of wattage it puts out. Besides I'm an old fart and you get what you pay for.

Im 67 and never thought id say i have to have an inverter. i do and so do you.Why? weve had flooding lately and lost power , then had a Derecho ( hurricane on land ). the inverter and 3 deep charge marine batteries made 12 powerless days , not so bad . charge by taking a ride in the car and hiom up to your cig lighter.

Power was out for 72 hours because of a storm. Connected this to our 2006 Prius and was able to run the fridge in kitchen, the freezer in basement, a floor lamp, two fans and recharge iPhones and tablets, all at the same time, with no problems. Seemed like there was still spare wattage to connect other electrical devices but I didn't need to. Shows watts being used so very helpful to know if you're going to overload it. Using this device to get electricity from the car battery (even if the car needs to run to generate the electricity) is much quieter than running a generator and uses a lot less gas. This device is also a lot cheaper than a gas generator. Really highly recommended.

Have used about 3 months now. The watts readout is very handy. Keeps me from turning on to many objects.Overload works great. Have not used it in a constant heavy draw situation. Comes with short cables plan on your battery being right next to the converter.Just one caveat that has nothing to do with product or seller. This converter will Not run your microwave or Keurig. You need a 2000w or better for that. Even with a 2000w you can not run both at the same time. Meaning study up and size your converter right the 1st time.

I have used BESTEK before and think they are as good as most electronics from Asia. This Inverter is a real deal if you don't need Pure Sine Wave, and that basically depends on if you need to run any devices with A/C motors from the Inverter. This inverter has a lot of nice features for the price which is about half the price of a Full Sine Wave.The only negative is they really should include longer connector cable...

I used this to power a server and monitor for 8 1/2 hrs continuously off of 4 parallel connected 12V 22ah batteries. Not a murmur, flicker or complaint. The constant wattage and input readout was very informative to monitor the batteries and the watts being used. I thought it was Fab! Compact and portable, seemed like a great product for the price.

I purchased this inverter as a way to power some of my appliances in the event Dorian was going to hit us in Florida. I planned to use my Prius C to power the inverter when we lost power. Thankful the hurricane moved off coast, but I tested this unit by powering several small fans, a 42 inch LCD TV, and my laptop all at the same time. The power inverter had no problem powering all of those devices at once. I truly appreciate the display showing the wattage and warning lights about voltage and heat. I am very happy with the device so far. I will continue to plan to use the device in the event of a hurricane, but I also plan to bring this unit when we go camping. It's so light and convient to carry. I will update with any changes, but as of now this is a great buy!

So i really bought this so i can use it with my Polisher since i dont have a garage in my house i can just take it to the car wash with me get in a booth and do my thang heres a video of me testing it out fir the first time it works at medium speeds for polisher but the low speeds it like starts and stops video is self explanitory this is my first time with 1 of these inverters and i can say this is awsome i am happy with my purchase but will update this revire if it fails at anything i theow at it i will try a PA Speaker next lol lets see if it can handle thatUpdate #1So i plugged a DJ PA Speaker 800W and bro it freakijg works lol at max volume and the watt meter on the inverter only reads about 300 watts tht are being used AT FULL VOLUME!!! this is awsome i have room to plug 2 of these if i wanted

It does not make much noise and I can stand an LED kitchen TV without disheveled.usb very practical. Good quality of materials. For now I can not put any.

arrived, unpacked and connected and then the question came up: why I've bought the cube power strip only now. I have more space on the desk, can also connect more and everything works fine. As a layman, I can not say much about technology, but I only know that I am still buying a tower for my TV, radio and player corner.

Convenient inverter to use for all those devices that require alternating current with a voltage of 220v. Bought to use it while traveling in a camper van to connect the PC and a small fan. Also very useful for camping.
